If you're interested in the Waggonway Project and would like to find out more about what we do and / or how you can get involved, we're holding an open day on Saturday 27th January at the Waggonway Community Workshop in West Harbour Road, Cockenzie (see the map below for help with finding us).
We'll be displaying some of our best finds from last years Big Dig and also showing off our new workshop and exhibition space!
And at 2pm, we'll be launching our big project for 2018, the building of a full size replica coal waggon, by unveiling the fantastic schematic plans from which the waggon will be created.
So, please pop in if you can and support your local heritage group in bringing old industrial Cockenzie back to life.
